How to Grow Amorphophallus variabilis
Amorphophallus variabilis is one of the easier Amorphophallus species to grow. Furthermore, its compact size makes it well suited for container growing indoors or outdoors. Follow these steps for the best results:
Step 1 — Seed Preparation Soak the seed in warm water (28–30°C) for 24–48 hours before planting. Additionally, lightly scratch the outer seed coat with fine sandpaper. This helps the seed absorb water faster and sprout more quickly.
